Getting Started
Connecting Your Pipedrive Account
To start using Pipeboard, you'll need to connect your Pipedrive CRM account:
- Click "Sign In" on the Pipeboard homepage or go to the Dashboard
- Click "Connect to Pipedrive" to start the authorization process
- Log in to your Pipedrive account if prompted
- Review the permissions and click "Allow" to grant Pipeboard access
- You'll be redirected back to Pipeboard with your account connected
Tip: Pipeboard only requests the minimum permissions needed to display your tasks and deals. Your data is never stored on our servers.
Using the Google Sheets Add-on
Pipeboard is also available as a Google Sheets add-on:
- Open Google Sheets and go to Extensions → Add-ons → Get add-ons
- Search for "Pipeboard" in the Google Workspace Marketplace
- Click "Install" and follow the authorization prompts
- Once installed, access Pipeboard from Extensions → Pipeboard
Task Management
The Task Dashboard
The task dashboard shows all your Pipedrive activities organized by urgency:
- Overdue: Tasks that were due before today (shown in red)
- Today: Tasks due today (shown in orange)
- This Week: Tasks due within the next 7 days (shown in green)
- All Tasks: View all open tasks regardless of due date
Completing Tasks
To mark a task as complete:
- Find the task in your task list
- Click the checkmark button on the right side of the task card
- The task will be marked as done in Pipedrive instantly
Snoozing Tasks
Need more time? Snooze a task to reschedule it:
- Click the clock icon on the task card
- Choose a snooze duration: 1 day, 3 days, or 1 week
- The task's due date will be updated in Pipedrive
Creating Tasks
To create a new task (Pro and Team plans):
- Click the "+" button or "New Task" in the task dashboard
- Enter the task subject and select an activity type
- Set the due date and time
- Optionally link the task to a deal or contact
- Add any notes and click "Create Task"
Pipeline View
Viewing Your Pipeline
The kanban view displays your deals organized by pipeline stage:
- Navigate to the Pipeline page from the sidebar
- Select a pipeline from the dropdown (if you have multiple)
- Deals appear as cards in their respective stage columns
- Each card shows the deal value, contact, and next activity
Moving Deals Between Stages
With Pro and Team plans, you can drag and drop deals between stages:
- Click and hold on a deal card
- Drag it to the desired stage column
- Release to drop the deal in its new stage
- The change is saved to Pipedrive automatically
Note: Drag-and-drop functionality requires a Pro or Team subscription. Free users can view their pipeline but cannot move deals.
Settings & Account
Managing Your Subscription
To view or change your subscription:
- Go to Settings from the sidebar
- View your current plan and usage
- Click "Upgrade" to see available plans
- Click "Manage Billing" to access the Stripe billing portal
Disconnecting Your Account
To disconnect Pipeboard from your Pipedrive account:
- Go to Settings from the sidebar
- Scroll to the "Pipedrive Connection" section
- Click "Disconnect" to revoke access
- Your OAuth tokens will be deleted from our system
Theme Settings
Pipeboard supports both light and dark themes:
- Click the sun/moon icon in the navigation bar to toggle themes
- Your preference is saved automatically
- By default, Pipeboard follows your system preference
